Examining the SWOT Model (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) of Virtual In-Service Education Systems for Educators from the Perspective of Elementary Teachers.

Abstract

Training courses in the virtual service ofeducators can be considered in line with the updating of information, improvement and promotion of the professional and career of teachers inthe virtual and electronic world.The purpose of the research is toexamine the model(SWOT) in theform ofanalyzing the strengths,weaknesses, opportunities and threats of virtual in-servicetraining courses, including:comprehensive learning management system and training ofeducators(LTMS),Rayadars learning management system and The learning schools ofMeraat were from the point of view of the first grade teachers of Ilam province between2022 and2024.This research was a part of applied research in adescriptive-survey manner and a researcher-made questionnaire was used tocollect information,and the sample size was154 people selected using the simple random sampling method using the Karjesi and Morgan method.The results revealed that the weaknesses include:the length of holding and recording scores in some systems, the lack of standard suitability ofsome test questions, the lack of two-way and active user interaction with course instructors, excessive emphasis on quantitative evaluation and the final grade.And the threats include: lack of monitoring and security necessary and sufficient for each user's participation in real life,disconnection and connection and low speed of the Internet and problems of online payment of the registration fee.The mentioned systems had opportunities in the field ofgoal setting, content and teaching-learning strategies,and the strengths can be: teachers'knowledge ofprofessional teaching skills such as:lesson planning,setting educational goals,assessment and evaluation, knowledge of methods and Creative and diverse models of virtual teaching, communication and classroom management and presentation ofskill-oriented assignments.At the end, practical suggestions are presented.
