Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of conceptual map on the motivation and academic progress and exam anxiety of 11th grade male students in the biology course. The method of this research is descriptive and semi-experimental. The statistical population includes all male students of the 11th grade of Hamadan secondary school in 1400. The statistical sample consists of 53 male students of the 11th grade who were selected through available sampling. The classrooms were pre-formed as 1 experimental group including 26 people and 1 control group including 27 people. were chosen. To collect the required data, Harter's 1981 standard academic motivation questionnaires and the TAI test anxiety questionnaire of Abolghasemi et al. CVA or content validity was used and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to calculate its reliability. In the following, the obtained data were analyzed using statistical methods of covariance analysis. The tests were calculated and analyzed by SPSS software version 24. The results showed that the conceptual map has the necessary effect on academic motivation and exam anxiety and academic progress.
